Our cathedral is home to the Manitoba branch of the Ukrainian Museum of Canada. Founded in 1950, the museum houses a collection of Ukrainian folk arts and crafts brought from Ukraine by early pioneers and includes traditional dress of various regions, Easter eggs (pysanky), wood carvings, a library and gift shop. Most of the collection was donated by descendants of the first, second and third waves of Ukrainian immigrants to Canada.
